Uno vecchio stabile di quartiere, sporco e al limite della decenza, abitato da gente grossolana e rumorosa. Questa volta spetta alla signora Farber pulire le scale e l’androne. Ma in questa pulizia lei cerca anche di spazzare via tutte le umiliazioni subite dai vicini per lunghi anni. Ora la signora Farber ha fatto veramente il pieno. Come si dice, quando č troppo č troppo! E oggi č il giorno giusto per dire “basta”.
Everything
seems to be as usual: the decaying house, the dirt, the noise and the ignorant
neighbours. It’s Mrs Farbers turn to do the stairways and the hall. She cleans
the dirt away and also tries to clean away the neighbour’s humiliations. They
have added up throughout the years. Until enough is enough. And today is enough.
