La pietra è la più antica arma dell’uomo. Una pietra lanciata durante una manifestazione di protesta manca il bersaglio e inizia un viaggio vertiginoso intorno alla Terra, diventando testimone delle dispute e delle relazioni umane. Sorvolando molti paesi del mondo, attraversa culture, ambienti geografici e sociali, povertà e ricchezze… La conclusione del suo volo è prevedibile, come prevedibile è l’esito di qualunque violenza.

The stone is the oldest and most popular weapon in the history of mankind. With “The Flight of the Stone” the audience experiences how a stone is torn out of its environment and made a tool of violence: someone throws it at an enemy. The stone misses its goal, enters in the earth’s orbit, and from there witnesses human relationships and disputes. The stone continues its flight around the world until approaches the person who threw it.
